You have reached the MAC-NVBUA association member website. We aim to provide information and resources to help our members have an excellent member experience and to umpire effectively.
Our umpires serve the greater Washington, DC, metropolitan area, including youth baseball, scholastic baseball, and adult recreation. Our assigning group also provides opportunities in college-level baseball.

Welcome to the June 23rd issue of The Blue Crews News! Robert’s on vacation with his family this week, so I’m subbing in to make sure we get this edition out to all of you! In this edition, we start with Mr. Maher’s presidential message.

Before I begin, I was just handed an urgent bulletin from the BCN Update Desk…VHSL First Round State games will be Tuesday, June 10th at Madison HS, West Springfield HS, Heritage HS, Independence HS and Gainesville HS. Umpire assignments have not yet been finalized.
BCN: 2025 Memorial Day
We had originally thought it best to remain dark in honor of Memorial Day but, we’ve got Dave here for you with a brief President’s Message in this abbreviated edition. Blue Crew News will return with a full edition on Monday, June 9th followed by an edition on Monday, June 23rd.
